·         Ages 3 & 4 (as of April 30th)
·         Players begin to learn the basics of baseball including:
     o   Positions
     o   Hitting from a tee
     o   Fielding ground and fly balls
     o   Throwing
·         Played on 50’ bases
·         An emphasis on fun and learning is stressed
·         

·         Ages 5 & 6 (as of April 30th)
·         Players begin to learn the basics of baseball including:
     o   Positions
     o   Hitting from a tee and coach pitch
     o   Fielding ground and fly balls
     o   Throwing
·         Played on 50’ bases
·         An emphasis on fun and learning is stressed
·         All players bat every inning
·         Play is split between infield and outfield
·         Players are placed on a team by the league VP based on parental requests and attempts to maintain all teams at a similar skill level

·         Ages 7 & 8 (as of April 30th)

·         Players continue expanding on knowledge developed in T-Ball
o   Hitting is coach pitch with some limited kid pitch toward the end of the season 
o   Sliding is introduced
o   Players should now begin to make some more defensive plays than T-Ball
o   Throwing to the correct base and situational fielding and base running are introduced

·         Fun and learning are still the main emphasis, but the games begin become more competitive.  Outs are called and runs are scored
·         Played on 55’ bases
·         There is a continuous batting order
·         Everyone plays at least 4 defensive innings (unless the bottom half of the inning is not played) with 2 defensive innings in the infield
·         Players are placed on teams by the league VP based on parental requests and an attempt to maintain a competitive balance and skill set across all teams
·         This is also the age where Tournament Ball begins to become an option

·         Ages 13 & 14
·         Leading off base before the pitch, balks, dropped 3rd strikes, and straight steals are all introduced at this level
·         Games are competitive and played in a league with other surrounding associations
·         A more competitive team competes in a higher talented league when compared to the in-house teams
·         Played on 80’ bases
·         Playing time is not guaranteed

·         Ages 15 – 17
·         This is real baseball with a step up in competition from even Pony level.  Games are played in a league with other surrounding associations
·         A more competitive team competes in a higher talented league when compared to the in-house teams
·         Playing time is not guaranteed
